Reinforced concrete vault structure - has shell on prefab arched pieces prestressed in bend line direction

A base, sidewalls, and a vault shell incorporating a series of curved reinforced-concrete prefabricated sections set close together, make up a vaulted structure, esp. for conduits dome containers, hangar-type buildings, or similar. The curved concrete sections are in the form of arched prefabricated pieces (10), which are prestressed in the direction of the bend line. The concrete sections carry a reinforced superimposed concrete shell (16). They are pref. centrally prestressed, andcan have slack reinforcement with joint bars (20) distributed over their edges and extending into the shell, esp. in the form of triangular stirrup pieces.
