TREATMENT OF WASTE TIRE OR THE LIKE BY USING SUPERHEATED STEAM JET

PURPOSE:To make waste tires harmless and reutilize said waste tires as resources by a method wherein water is injected from an outer periphery of a flame jet burner and the formed superheated steam jet is injected to finely divide said waste tires in a noncarbonized condition. CONSTITUTION:If cooled water is discharged from a water discharging pore 2a under the pressure set by a control apparatus to flame jet combusted in a combustion chamber 3, said cooled water lowers the temp. of the flame jet and converted to superheated steam. This superheated steam is injected along with the flame jet from a burner nozzle 2 and both of them are completely mixed within a mixing chamber 13. This mixed gas is injected permeating pores 14 of a shield plate 14 to be converted to the thermally homogenous superheated steam-gas mixture and this steam-gas mixture is injected to waste tires within a treating tank from injecting ports 13c. By using this superheated steam jet, it is possible to prepare finely divided particles having complete rubber properties without carbonizing said particles.
