PURPOSE:To produce high concn. CO2 from high concn. CO-contg. exhaust gas generated from a steel making converter or the like by burning the exhaust gas with mixed gas of pure oxygen and part of combustion product gas recycled. CONSTITUTION:High concn. CO-contg. exhaust gas 1 from a steel making converter or a ferroalloy manufacturing electric furnace and pure oxygen gas 2 for combustion are fed to burner 3 of boiler 4 to burn exhaust gas 1. This combustion gas contg. high concn. CO2 is cooled as primary exhaust gas with cooler 10 to the heat resistant temp. zone or below of recycling fan 6 or to the stable combustion temp. zone of burner 3, and the cooled gas is held as product gas in CO2 holder 8. Part of this primary exhaust gas is then taken out with recycling and taking-out means 5, mixed with pure oxygen 2 in mixer 7, and fed to burner 3 as gas for combustion with fan 6 to burn exhaust gas 1. |
