Sepg.>=2 compns. contg. acrylic polymers with different heat shrinkage into multiple layer with layer multiplication factor 1-2(= Nd/KNh0.5; Nd= no. of layers; Nh=total no. of spinnerette holes; K=a const. related to the arrangement of spinnerette holes), passing the layered compn. through a spinnerette, drawing and drying the spun fibers, heat-treating the fibers at 115-35≦̸C, and drawing the fibers gave composite fibers useful for fiber bundles.
