PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricant compsn. excellent in wear resistance by compounding a specific base oil with a phosphorus-based wear inhibitor and benzotriazole or its deriv. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by compounding at least one base oil selected from among an org. acid ester and an alkyldiphenyl ether with a phosphorus-based wear inhibitor and benzotriazole or its deriv. in a molar ratio of the wear inhibition to benzotriazole or its deriv. of 0.05-30.
