PURPOSE:To make the negative feedback of a characteristic value of a power section to a driving circuit section by reducing a self-inductance of an inductance of the driving circuit section by magnetic line of force generating from an inductance of an open magnetic path of the power section of an inverter. CONSTITUTION:A discharge lamp lighting device is constituted of a supply circuit 4 having the constant polarity of the output voltage consisting of commercial power supply 1, a rectifier bridge 2 and a smoothing capacitor 3, a self- excitation system inverter consisting of a parallel resonance circuit 7 of a resonant inductance 5 and a capacitor 6, a transistor 11 and an inductance 8, a fluorescent lamp 10, a starting capacitor 9 and so on. The magnetic line of force of the inductance 5 of a power circuit is so placed that the intersection of an inductance 12 and its magnetic line of force is made in the opposite direction to reduce a self-inductance. According to the constitution, a simple constitution can be made at a low cost without making any special feedback circuit. |
