<p>PURPOSE:To cool a cylinder and to prevent the damage of an incorporated electronic circuit and a magnetic tape and the deformation of the cylinder by disposing a hole for guiding air to the cylinder in the rotating cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The hole 10 is disposed on the center of the upper face of a rotating drum 2 on which a magnetic head 4 is mounted. At the time of rotating the drum, the flow 12 of the air is generated according to the operation of a centrifugal force in an internal air, the air of outside of the drum 2 passes through the hole 10 to enter the drum and flow out of the drum through a wiring hole 11, etc., connecting the magnetic head 4, the electronic circuit 5 and a rotary transformer 6. Consequently, the electronic circuit 5 is cooled to prevent the high temperature of the drum. Further, since the air flows out of the magnetic head part, when this rate of flow is suitably set, a sliding pressure between the magnetic tape and the magnetic head is reduced to attain long life of the magnetic head 4.</p> |
