BASES FOR STABLE EMULSIONS TO BE USED AS LUBRICANTS IN DIE-CASTING, AND PROCESSES FOR THEIR MANUFACTURE

This invention relates to a novel base used to form a stable emulsion which used as a lubricant in the diecasting process. The base is composed of a saturated ester and is produced by the reaction of a cellulosic ether and an oxyethylenic ester of a non-saturated fatty acid. The base is non-toxic and produces a stable emulsion which is a good lubricant in the die-casting process.
