PURPOSE:To keep cooling of ice cream, etc., contained in a heat-insulated container, by injecting an aqueous solution containing at least one inorganic salt selected from the group consisting of KCl, NH4Cl, NH4NO3 and NaNO3, into a synthetic resin plate-form container and sealing, cooling and freezing the solution. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous coolant solution containing water and at least one member selected from the group consisting of KC , NH4Cl, NH4NO3 and NaNO3, is injected through a port 2 into a synthetic resin plate-form container 1 to a 75% full of the total volume. Then, after stopping the port 2 with a stopper, the container is cooled to, e.g., -22 deg.C, to produce a cooling plate. This cooling plate is set on the upper part of a heat-insulated polystyrene foam container 4 containing, for example, ice cream 5 and then a polystyrene cover 6 is put in place. The whole container is left at room temperature. The coolant in the cooling plate resists to thawing for a long time and so, the ice cream is kept in a cool, solid state. |
