<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the complicated unlocking operation of an automotive door locking device via a key plate upon stopping of an engine by altering the position relation between a rear rotor lug slidably and rotatably inserted into a cylindrical casing and a retainer engaging cutout by means of external rotary force acted on the rear rotor lug. CONSTITUTION:An automotive door lock operating mechanism 4 consists of a pusher 14 slidably inserted into a cylindrical casing 13, a key rotor 15 engaged with the pusher 14, and a rear rotor 18 slidably and rotatably inserted into the rear of the casing 13, etc. When the lug 18b on the outer peripheral surface of the extended shaft 18a of a rear rotor 18 is disposed at the engaging cutout 19b of the central hole 19a of a retainer 19, it can be axially slidable in the casing 13 with the result that the mechanism 4 is operated by both the key plate 16 and a solenoid 24 energized from a cab by a driver.</p> |
