PURPOSE:To simplify a circuit constitution, by clipping the intermediate frequency signal and by controlling the gain by an AGC signal corresponding to the output level. CONSTITUTION:The second IF signal obtained by mixing the oscillated signal of a local oscillator and the signal obtained by converting the SHF signal from a satellite is input to AGC circuit 6. The second IF signal has the upper half or the lower half clipped by the second IF tuning amplifier 18 and clip circuit 19 and has amplitude fluctuation components detected through integrating circuit 20 and is amplified by DC amplifier 21 and is converted to an AGC voltage. Gain control is performed by this AGC voltage. |
