PURPOSE:To enhance the antistatic properties of a silver halide photographic material without exerting unfavorable influence on the photographic properties, adhesion, etc. of the material by combinedly adding a matting agent and an inorg. chloride to the uppermost layer of the photographic layers. CONSTITUTION:About 10-100mg/m<2> of a matting agent such as polyacrylate or polymethacrylate having an average grain size of about 3-6mu and 8-70mg/m<2> of a water soluble inorg. chloride such as sodium chloride or potassium chloride are added to the uppermost layer of photographic layers formed on a support or its adjacent layer. |
