MANUFACTURE OF CORELESS ARMATURE

PURPOSE:To manufacture parts monolithically and raise armature manufacturing accuracy with commutator pieces and a shaft insulated from each other and combined into a unitary rigid structure using an insulating material for insulating from each other and fastening coils. CONSTITUTION:A copper pipe commutator piece material 7 has commutator piece dividing grooves and coil connecting riser grooves 6. The terminal wires 4a of a given number of simplex coils 4 are fitted into the grooves 6 and electrically connected with the material 7 and the material 7 and wires 4a are heat-pressed into a flat structure. The flat structure is installed at a given place in a die 8 after adjusted in shape, and a shaft 1 at a given place in a die 9. Next, a die 10 is installed and kept at a given gemperature, an insulating material 3 is filled in the clearance between the die 10 and inserted parts through the pressure injection thereof under a given pressure and left during a given space of time to set. After the inserted parts insulated from each other and combined into a unitary rigid structure are taken out with the die opened and a slit is cut in commutator part so that an armature is completed. Thereby, armature manufacturing accuracy can be raised.
