PURPOSE:The title germicide, capable of controlling plant blight and injurious insects simultaneously with low toxicity, and comprising a (thio)urea compound, o-sec-butylphenyl methylcarbamate and/or m-tolyl methylcarbamate. CONSTITUTION:The title germicide comprising (A) a urea or thiourea compound of the formula (R is 3-8C branched alkyl or 5-8C cycloalkyl group; X is halogen, nitro, cyano or 1-4C alkyl group; Y is O or S), e.g. N-4-chlorobenzyl-N-sec-butyl- N'-phenyl (thio)urea and (B) one or two types of o-sec-butylphenyl methylcarbamate or m-tolyl methylcarbamate as active constituents. The germicide is used by diluting with water or mixing with an agriculatural adjuvant, e.g. a diluent or surfactant. The content of the active constituents is preferably 0.005-10wt%. |
