PURPOSE:A herbicide, capable of controlling a wide range of weeds even in a small amount of a drug, and comprising N-(alpha,alpha-dimethylbenzyl)-alpha-bromo-tert-butyl- acetamide and a specific organis phosphorus compound. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide comprising (A) a compound of formula I and (B) one or more compounds selected from formulas II-IV at a ratio of (A) to (B) of 1:0.2- 5 (in pts.wt.). The herbicide has improved control effects on a wide range of weeds, e.g. three-square grass, barnyard grass and arrowhead, by either of soil and foliar treatment before and after the germination, and is usable in a paddy and a plowed fields and a fruit garden. |
