<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an uneven-surfaced decorated material having good durability by a process in which a paint containing a heat wave absorbent is applied to a part of the pattern formed on the surface of a base material and selectively hardened and then a granular substance is stuck to an unhardened portion. CONSTITUTION:The pattern 5 containing a heat wave absorbent, e.g., carbon black, etc., is formed on at least a part of the colored pattern layer 6 having one or more colors, provided on the surface of the base material 1. Then, the painted layer 2 is formed on the pattern 5 and the layer 6, and heat wave is emitted on the whole surface to heat selectively a part of the painted layer 2 corresponding to the pattern 5, whereby the hardened portion 3 is formed. Then, a powdery or granular substance is stuck to the unhardenend portion of the painted layer 2 and then hardened by heating. Thus, a decorated material, e.g., board material having an aged appearance, etc., can be obtained.</p> |
