<p>A frame strip is fixed on a base plate by means of two or more screws, in swivelling attachment of a hinge strip, esp. on a vehicle door. The screws pass through holes in the strip, with room for play. The frame strip is mounted so as to swing about an axis roughly parallel to the door strip swivel axis and is flexible in the set swivel position. The frame strip swivel axis can comprise two threaded bolts screwed into the strip and supported on the base plate. This permits alignment of the door in the third dimension.</p> |
