<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of humidifying performance caused by an indoor pollutant, by carrying a photocatalyst on a dehumidifying member and decomposing the indoor pollutant stuck to the dehumidifying member by the excited photocatalyst to constantly keep the dehumidifying member clean. SOLUTION: The photocatalyst 2 is carried on the surface of the rotor state dehumidifying member 1 composed of an activated non-woven fabric to form a dehumidifying element 3 to pass the indoor air 4 through the dehumidifying member 1. At the time of passing the indoor air 4 through the dehumidifying member 1 to adsorb mister in the indoor air 4 on the dehumidifying member 1, the surface of the dehumidifying member 1 is constantly cleaned by the oxidation decomposition action of the photocatalyst 2 carried on the surface of the dehumidifying member 1 to firm the high hydrophilic state thereon. As the dehumidifying member 1, any adsorbing body having water absorption such as silica gel, zeolite, alumina in addition to the activated carbon non-woven fabric can be used. The shape of the dehumidifying member 1 can be a rectangular state in addition to the rotor state. Further, inside shape of the dehumidifying member 1 is in a sintered state or a sponge state in addition to the nonwoven state.</p> |
