The radiator for a vehicle has an expansion tank and a warer tank. The water tank is fitted within the expansion tank and it is held by a connection consisting of the perforated plate holding gradiator tubes. Between the water tank (58) and the expansion tank (38) are fitted ribs or webs (52). The tube plate has flexible foil lining and the expansion tank (38) is placed against the film under pressure by means of the ribs or webs. Free edges of the ribs or webs match the outside profile of the water tank.
