PURPOSE:To enable temperature compensation in excellent manner, by providing the heating electrode by taking the coordinate plane as the reference after tilted X'- Z' of the crystal coordinate axis around the Y'' axis with a specific angle. CONSTITUTION:The axes X2' and Z2' corresponding to the axes X' and Z' after tilting the X'-Z' plane of the crystal coordinate axis around the Y'' axis clockwise or counter-clockwise by an angle alpha, are respectively taken as X2' and Z2'. Heating electrodes 16, 17 are placed symmetrically in left and right, preferrably in the range of theta=90-160 deg. for the angle area. Further, the slope angle alpha is set in the range of 20-54 deg., preferably 34-54 deg.. Thus, the leading characteristics from the application of a voltage to the heating electrodes to the arrival at a specified frequency, can be shortened, the frequency and temperature characteristics can be improved, and the current consumption flowing to the heating electrodes 16 and 17 can be reduced. |
