PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform maintenance without storing the name of a 1st input/output port whose detection signal shows a special state by displaying the name expressing the input/output port and the content of the detection signal when the detection signal obtained from the input/output port shows the special state. SOLUTION: When a serviceman operates a ten-key on a control panel 205 in specified procedure, a menu screen for a serviceman is displayed on a liquid crystal display part 400. By selecting I/O check from the menu screen, an I/O check mode is set and the special state such as a door opened state, a trouble state and a jamming state is detected by each sensor in a copying machine 100 and the screen for an I/O check mode is displayed. In the case of detecting that a door is opened, the name of the input/output port 203 connected to the sensor detecting the effect and the detection signal are displayed on an input/ output port display part. Whether a detection means normally performs detection or not is easily confirmed without storing the name of the port 203. |
