PURPOSE:To add tremolo effect electronically to the alarm sound of the watch and obtain announcing sound of good quality by using the modulating signal for tremolo of smaller amplitude and lower frequency than the announcing signal. CONSTITUTION:When a clock part 30 reaches the set time, unlocking 32 closes and the respective scale frequencies of electronic melody sounds generate subsequently from an announcing sound generating circuit 34. The sine wave signal of small amplitude and low frequency from an integrating circuit 54 is superposed on the attenuation signal of a time constant circuit 42 and these signals are applied to the circuit 34. Because of this, the output of the circuit 34 becomes the signal comprising superposing the attenuation signal on each scale frequency signal of the electronic melody sound. As a result of this, the respective scale sounds of the electronic melody sounds from a speaker 46 become the attenuated sounds added with tremolo effect. |
