<p>The clutch plate comprises a hub with a flange, against one side of which a lined plate bears, while a cover plate bears against the other. There is friction material on the flange between it and the lining and/or cover plates, which are spring-loaded against it to transmit torque. The pressure face of the lining plate (26) or cover plate (34) bears against a thrust washer (22), to which it is coupled so as to transmit torque. The washer bears against the friction material (28), and the latter against the side (30) of the hub flange (12) over a large area.</p> |
