PURPOSE:To enable to sweep the frequency over a wide variety of output frequency width, by providing an impedance adjusting circuit enabling the impedance adjustment on the circumference of a resonant cavity having external output pickup terminals. CONSTITUTION:At a part of a resonance cavity 1, an oscillation circuit connecting an oscillation element 4 to one end of a coaxial line 3 is provided. The impedance adjusting circuit connecting a variable capacitance element 11 is provided at one end of a separate coaxial line 10 of the cavity 1 is provided, mutually coupling the cavity 1 with the oscillation circuit and the impedance adjusting circuit mutually. When a bias voltage V is applied to the element 11 from the terminal applied with external voltage, the capacitance of the element 11, that is, the impedance of the impedance adjusting circuit is changed, allowing to change the resonant frequency of the entire oscillator. As a result, the sweep for oscillation frequencies can be made. |
