Feed channels are formed in a continuous strand or bar of foamed synthetic material, the channel walls of which are densified so that they are water tight. At the same time, the channels are spaced out sufficiently to ensure adequate heat insulation, when the strands are assembled into a hot and cold water circulating system. The strands with the channels in them are formed by extrusion, and the outer walls of the strands are also densified. Provides a distributing system for hot and cold water which does not require individual erection of pipes and their subsequent insulation. The strands can be installed easily since they can be drilled at any convenient point. |
