PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of electrode plate by preventing the falling of active material by a method in which tetrabasic lead sulfate is mixed in paste in the end period of mixing. CONSTITUTION:In the end period of mixing for the paste for lead-acid battery electrode plate, 7-10% a tetrabasic lead sulfate paste dissolved with ice is added to the paste and mixed uniformly for a short time (1-2 minutes).
