摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To detect the number of slip revolutions of an induction generator which is driven by a prime mover such as water wheel or turbine with high accuracy and display the same obtaining the difference between the synchronizing speed corresponding to the fluctuating system frequencies and the number of revolutions of the induction generator. CONSTITUTION:Either one of the secondary voltage of the potential transformer connected to a system bus 4 and the output voltage of an AC tachometer generator 7 is connected to the stator winding of a selsyn 10 and the other is connected to the rotor winding of the selsyn 10. This causes the rotor of the selsyn 10 to revolve to the right or left at the number of revolutions proportional to the difference between the system frequency fS and the frequency FG of the AC tachometer generator 7b, that is, fG-fS. This frequency difference fG-fS corresponds to the difference between the number of revolutions of the induction generator 1 and the synchronizing speed and since the number of revolutions of the selsyn 10 is proportional to the slip of the induction generator 1, the number of revolutions of the selsyn 10 is detected and this is displayed as the slip of the induction generator 1.</p>
