The special pliers are for the release of track rods in vehicles. The heavy pliers are non-flexible and consist two removably fastened legs (1, 3). Each leg has a hardened steel jaw (2, 4) with inner gripping ribs (2b, 4b). One jaw (2) has an eye (2a), which projects upwards at an obtuse angle. The second jaw (4) has a hook (4a), which engages in the eye when in a working position. The plier legs have plastics grip covers (1a, 3a).
