PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate material enhanced in printing resistance, by adding a specified polymer to form a photosensitive image-forming layer in a lithographic plate material not requiring wetting water using a silicone material as a non-printing-element part. CONSTITUTION:The polymer to be added has repeating units represented by the formula (R1 is H, or CH3; R2 and R3 are H, alkyl, or aryl; n is an integer of 1-10; and m is 1, 2, or 3). A 0.3mu-1mm. thick photosensitive image-forming layer (preferably, it contains the above polymer by 2-95wt%) consisting of the above polymer and a photosensitive component is formed on a substrate, 0.5-100mu thick silicone material layer consisting mainly of linear organopolysiloxane of several thousand - several hundred thousand molecular weight is formed on this layer, thus permitting the title printing plate material to be prepared. |
