PURPOSE:To obtain the compact hour meter for both AC and DC with simple construction by equipping a plurality of display wheels, carry pinions, etc. to a mounting plate formed by a magnetic material and opposing the magnet of a rotor to the magnetic pole tooth parts formed to the mounting plate. CONSTITUTION:Five display wheels 2 are arrayed in one direction and are inserted onto a shaft 4 and are mounted to a mounting plate 1. A plurality of carry pinions 3 are also arrayed in one direction and are inserted onto the shaft 4. The gears 3c of the respective pinions 3c intermesh with the gears 2a of the display wheels 2, and only the ends of the high teeth 3a are intermeshed with the intermeshing parts 2b. When electric current is alternately flowed to coils 5b, the magnetic pole teeth of a narrow width and the magnetic pole teeth of a broad width are alternately magnetized to N-pole and S-pole. The revolutions of a rotor 6 are transmitted from a transmission wheel 7 to the display wheels 2. By 1 turn of the display wheels 2, the pinions 3 make 1/4 turn. And, the one turn of the display wheel 2 causes the next display wheel to make 1/10 turn. |
