A flexible scraper for removing excess toner powder from the process drum in a photocopier has the scraper blade (61) held in a holder (79) on an adjustable mounting (67) to provide optimum cleaning with a min. of noise and damage. The blade can flex in the holder and is held nearly vertical to the drum surface, with one edge scraping. The holder has retaining lips (P) set back from the scraper end to allow the blade to flex. The blade is held in the holder with adhesive at the rear end, and with a clamp fit near the lips. The scraper is more effective than conventional angled blades and is easily adjusted to take up wear, with no angular adjustment required.
