The device applies light-reflective material to freshly laid road markings. It has a storage vessel (4), which can be sealed, fixed to a marking machine, while below the vessel is a distribution chamber (11) with a compressed air supply (12). The chamber floor has chutes (14) sloping downwards. The vessel can be sealed by a spring-loaded cone (6), widening towards the bottom, and thrust downwards by a compressed air driven piston, whose rod (7) slides in a guide bush (10).
