It comprises a sealing plate with apertures for the combustion chambers, oil and water passages and mounting studs, while sealing rings are inserted in one or more of the apertures. The sealing rings each have (6, 7) on their outer periphery one or more lugs (8, 9), whose lateral faces diverge towards the outside. These engage in correspondingly-shaped recesses in the plate.
