<p>The operating element, such as a steering wheel (1), handle, or aircraftjoystick, is intended for a vehicle or for other equipment. At least part of its surface is provided with orifices (5) connecting with an internal cavity (2, 3) through which air may be supplied via steering column (4) etc. It may consists of a porous material such as an open-pore foam material. The cavity may be formed by a perforated tube with external porous lining. The outer surface maybe provided with recesses in which the orifices are arranged. The cavity may be connected to an air supply line in the steering column.</p> |
