Penicillin acylase, trypsin, and lipase were coupled to polymeric supports contg. nonpolar side chains and hexamethy-lenediamine linking groups in the presence of glutaraldehyde. Ficoll, Sepharose 4B, Dextran T2000, and Gantrez 149 or 119 were used for support materials. The CNBR-activated polymers were reacted with long-chain alkylamines(dodecylamine, octadodecylamine, decylamine) and 1,6-diaminohexane. The resulting modified polymers were then coupled to enzymes in the presence of glutaraldehyde or some other activating substance.
