PURPOSE:To improve the durability, by depositing a refractory material excelling the main body in corrosion resistance and wear resistance, on the interior of nozzle hole and nozzle hole peripheral part on sliding surface. CONSTITUTION:The interior of nozzle hole 2 and hole peripheral part on sliding surface of the main body of sliding plate brick 4 and fixed plate brick 3 are reinforced with bonding, by spraying method, of a refractory material which is similar to the plate brick main body in the coefficient of thermal expansion, whether it is similar to or dissimilar to the main body material, and excels the main body in corrosion resistance and wear resistance. As for the spraying method, when using a material having a relatively low melting point, the spraying method may be used, but from the viewpoint of economy, the oxygen-acetylene method is preferable, or when material of high melting point is used, the plasma method is appropriate. As for the spraying material, refractory materials of alumina-silica, alumina, zirconium, or similar compound shold be used. |
