PURPOSE:To enable the sure and efficient setting of a core into the main mold by enabling the perpendicular moving of a core holder for holding the core with respect to the guide member having the face parallel to the parting face of the main mold at the time of setting the core to the main mold at the molding of a mold. CONSTITUTION:A core setter 1 is provided with a guide plate 2 which has the surface parallel to the parting surface (s) of a main mold (m) and is provided with a core holder 3 in such a manner as to move in the direction perpendicular to this guide plate 2. The core (n) held to the core holder 3 is disposed in the desired position of the main mold (m) by the cooperative action of the guide plate 2 and core holder 3. The guide plate 2 of square frame form is connected to the piston ends of oil cylinders 4 disposed at four corners of the core setter body 5. Arms 18 are provided to the holding units 16 supported rotatably on four sides of the body 5 and these are vertically moved by cam clamp cylinders 17. |
