The mixture is based on carbohydrates, protein, fats, where appropriate customary additives and an enzyme combination of at least one acid protease with an activity range of pH 2.5-6.5, preferably a preparation from Aspergillus niger or Rhizopus rhizopodiformis, and of a neutral to alkaline protease with an activity range of pH 7.0-12.5, preferably from Bacillus licheniformis P 300, Bacillus natta or Bacillus subtilis. Further suitable and preferred additives are animal feed antibiotics from the group comprising virginiamycin, zinc bacitracin, flavophospholipol, tylosine, spiramycin, avoparcin, lincomycin, oleandomycin, tetracycline or growth promoters such as nitrovin, olaquindox, carbadox or a growth-promoting carboxylic acid such as fumaric acid.
