PURPOSE:To obtain a head rest with a beautiful exterior which is packed with foamed material in a unitary body between a core body and a skin by a method wherein a bag-type external skin is formed round a core body in a unitary body with the core body and the foaming substance is injected from an injecting hole prepared on the skin, made to foam and molded. CONSTITUTION:The core body 3 is placed at a specified position, a cylindrical parison 5 having a dimension enough to cover the core body 3 is made to fall, the core body 3 is located in it, both right and left flow-forming dies 6, 7 are closed, the air is blown in from an air blow pipe 4 and a specified bag-type external skin 20 is molded in the dies. A foaming material such as foaming urethane primary liquid is injected through the injecting hole 21 formed on the external skin and made to foam and molded. Since any other rift need not be prepared on the external skin, headrests having smooth and excellent exteriors are obtained. |
