PURPOSE:To prevent the turning back of twisting from the broken part of a twisted yarn, and to improve the strength, by heat bonding the core yarns meltable at a low temperature in the center of the twisted yarn consisting of spun yarns. CONSTITUTION:The bobbin 1 around which doubled spun yarns are wound is inserted into the hollow spindle 1, and the low-melting synthetic fiber yarn 4, e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene spun yarn, is passed from below to above the spindle 1, and wound. The spindle 1 is then turned in the twisting direction, and the resulting doubled yarn is passed from the outside of the spindle, through the guide 5 and wound with the core yarn onto the top winding part 6. The twisted yarn is then wound onto the hank to bobbin winder, heat-treated (at 140 deg.C for 2min in the case of a polyethylene filament core yarn), and bonded at the contact points in the center.
