摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To increase the reaction efficiency of molten metal and a chemical agent and enhance the separation efficiency of formed dross and refined molten metal by countercurrently contacting the molten metal and the agent in an inclined tube. CONSTITUTION:Molten crude lead or the like from smelting installation 1 such as electric furnace is charged 2 into inclined tube 3, from the higher position side, provided with internal screw 5 rotatable with driving unit 4. On the other hand, a reagent is charged from the lower position side of tube 3 with continuous charger 7. The winding direction of screw 5 is determined so that the reagent is fed from the lower position side to the higher position side, and the load is allowed to flow down along the inclination of tube 3 owing to the empty weight. In tube 3 the lead and the reagent are contacted countercurrently and reacted very effectively. The resulting refined lead is poured into mold 6 from the lower position side of tube 3, and slag formed by the reaction is discharged into receiving container 8 from the edge of the higher position side of tube 3.</p>
