PURPOSE:To utilize a secondary current and increase a transmitted heat capacity by a method wherein a center of an inner tube is located so as to be eccentric toward outside of a curvature with respect to a center of an outer tube so that a specified eccentricity can be obtained in a heat exchanger of a double tubes construction having curved tubular configuration. CONSTITUTION:An inner tube 4 of an outer diameter d2 is arranged in an outer tube 2 of an inner diameter d1 so as to be eccentric toward outside of a curvature with respect to a center of the inner tube 2. In case an amount of the eccentricity is supposed to be delta and the eccentricity e is defined by a formula e=2delta/d1-d2, the eccentricity is determined so as to be e>=0.5. According to such constitution, fluid flowing through an annular flowing passageway 5 tends to have a speed distribution biasing toward outside by the curvature while to show a characteristic to pass through a wider space. As a result, both of the actions are balanced by the eccentricity and the speed distribution in the annular flowing passageway is made uniform. Consequently, an area of the current having a higher speed is distributed widely along a circumference of the inner tube, thereby, a heat transmitting efficiency may be improved. Further, resistances to thermal expansion, pressure and vibration may be improved by making the heat exchanger into an annular curved configuration. |
