The device comprises, in a housing (1), a throttle valve (9) whose outlet cross-section can be controlled by means of an adjustable valve-closing part (10). A good approximation to a time-constant pressure drop during the pressure release is achieved by providing for the valve-closing part (10) a pressure-path- dependent control element (24) which is exposed to the measurement pressure of the pressure medium via a measurement channel (41).
