The needle 6 moves through a groove 18 in the pressing plate 2 and has a sheave 21 rotatably journalled in its hook opening. The wire holder 24 may comprise a pair of hookshaped members 26 pivoted at 25 and pulled against an abutment 29 by a spring 28.
