PURPOSE:To prevent such a trouble that the succeeding second sheet of original is fed by the inertia of the feed driving system by so controlling the feed driving system as to prevent the succeeding feeding after one sheet of original has been surely fed and set. CONSTITUTION:When the original passes a feed sensor 44 and its trailing end comes close to the sensor 44, the signal S2 changes from 1 to 0. A gate 112 detects this change and is input with 0 on both sides, hence it outputs 1 which sets an FF108 and consequently turns OFF the motor M2 of feed rollers 61, 62. The remaining rotating force owing to the inertia of the feed roller 62 is capable of discharging the remaining part of the orignal from the roller 62 and sending it into the setter part. And the roller 62 stops at the extent that one sheet of the next original is separated by the roller 61, and therefore the feeding of the next original by the roller 62 is prevented. |
