PURPOSE:To seek to improve quality of a flat cable by making the shape of an air nozzle for a jet heater into a gooseneck shape so as to give high-low difference with an air heater and sending, at an obtuse angle, a core sent by an air guide roll to a formation guide roll. CONSTITUTION:A core 4 to be sent out pass by a guide roll 3 and is curved at obtuse angle inward and restrained for deviation in the vertical direction, and fused for a part of the surface with heat blow with a jet heater and then two cores are pressed from both sides with formation guide rolls 2 and fused together by heat and made into a ribbon-shaped line material 5. This equipment is arranged in series to increase the line number. Only the air nozzle 1a of the jet heater is made goosenecked to give high-low difference with a heater 1b and if the heater 1b is arranged below the guide roll, the core to be fused can be guided without difficulty and stable fusing can be executed.
