The device comprises a male luer connector (10) having a tapered front end portion 28 for engaging in a bore of a female luer connector 12 of the type having an outer flange 18. A sleeve 20 has a resilient part 44 slidable on the main body 32 of the male luer connector (10) and has an internally screw- threaded part 42 for screw-engaging the flange 18 on the female luer connector 12. The main body 32 tapers outwardly slightly towards the front end portion, so that as the sleeve 20 is screwed onto a female luer connector 12 there is increased compression between the resilient part 44 of the sleeve and the main body 32. <IMAGE> |
