The multi-level parking unit comprises a partly-underground stationary frame forming a vertical cage, in which a multi-level structure moves up and down. The individual levels are brought into line with the access level. Each level has a first conveyor (12) operated individually, while the access level has a second one (18) delivering a vehicle on it (16) onto one of the levels opposite it. The first conveyor brings the vehicle into the desired position and holds it there.
