The tool has elongated hollow round section housing (2) with a stirrup handle (3) and an enlarged head (4) at opposite ends. A plunger (22) traverses the bore and has a knurled handwheel (23) at one end terminating in a reduced nose (27) with a conical shoulder. A circumferential trapezoidal section groove (26) is formed near the nose. An upset barrel thread (24) engages a threaded housing bore sector (25) and the head terminates in a hexagonal spigot (8) locating sliding sealed (11) pins (10). Plunger descent causes the pins to ride up from the groove (26) or the nose and to penetrate a bore groove (30) in a capsule (C) plug (13).
