PURPOSE:To achieve shortening of manufacturing process and solving complexity by eliminating necessity of threading work and utilization of adhesive, by pressing and fixing an outer receptacle made of synthetic resin (or plastics) and a step to be connected to one end of the receptacle while applying vibration to them in axial direction. CONSTITUTION:An outer receptacle 11 made of synthetic resin and a metallic step 12 are composed of curved surfaces and are not provided with threads. If outside diameter of the outer receptacle 11's one end section to which the step 12 is to be attached is d and inside diameter of the step 12' recessed hole is d'., relationship between these two is to be d>d'. An appropriate velue for the difference DELTAd=d-d' is to be 0.1mm.-0.5mm.. Thus composed outer receptacle 11 and step 12 are pressed in together while applying vibration to either one of them. At this time, friction heat generates on contacting sections of these two units causing contacting surfaces of the outer receptacle 11 and the step 12 to be melted whereby press-in of the step is to become possible regardless of the relationship of d>d'. And when application of vibration is stopped, the synthetic resin in molten state starts solidifying to join these 2 units securely. |
